Thanksgiving in Oklahoma

Birthday celebration # ?

Nana got Matt a cool dragon cake! It was the perfect size for all of us to finish, with a little extra for the boys. No leftovers to munch on. Perfect!

Jonathan wasn't sure what to think of the green dragon.

Yummy, cake!

Matt was being so cautious about opening his presents, until Nana told him to let loose. I think he had some fun!

That's one happy boy!

While Nick gets the actual gift ready for playing, the boys had a blast with the trash bag.

Trash bag play with brother 1, Toys 0 (at this point, anyway)
We stopped at the library and got the boys some books about fall and leaves, so when they saw how many leaves Nana and Pawpaw had in their yard, they were so excited to rake them and pile them up like we had talked about for weeks. Luckily, Nana & Pawpaw were moving soon, so they hadn't had the leaves taken care of and were happy to have us make a complete mess of the backyard!

Jonathan was the first to jump into the pile!

They had so much fun playing in the leaves.

Running down the hill to crash in the pile proved to be fun, and an energy release!

Mommy, take a picture of me!

We had a great visit. Tried to take advantage of playing in the yard one last time, since they won't be in that house the next trip to Oklahoma. We'll miss the house, but I am sure Nana & Pawpaw will feel more at home in something a bit more cozy.
