My mom came for a visit for her birthday weekend, and we tried to fill the weekend with some fun, Halloween and birthday activities. I think we succeeded and wore everyone out! First up, pumpkin patch!
Matt cautiously interacted with the animals in the petting zoo area at the pumpkin patch.
The tractor ride brought about some interesting scenery.
Hay pig!
Wandering around looking for the perfect pumpkins. Each of us were allotted one pumpkin with admission, so the boys got to find 5.
Oooh!
They each had their reasons why their pumpkin was better.
An attempt at a family picture, foiled by a caterpillar landing on us.
More feeding time! Matt opened up a bit toward the end and was eager to get rid of the animal feed he had in his cup.
Grandma and Matt fed the goats together.
Pictures out of order, but here's more of the tractor ride!
Running through the rows of pumpkins was quite amusing to Jonathan.
Matt & Grandma carried their pumpkins back from the patch.
Matt and Jonathan got a big kick out of these crazy shaped pumpkins!
Later that day, we headed to lunch at one of our favorite pizza places. We stopped for some playing time on the ducks first.
...and the bull with no horns.
...and more ducks!
