Our neighbor down the street is apparently known for his display for Halloween. He was still putting things up that day to make it what all the trick or treating neighbors wanted. It was a Pirates of Caribbean theme and it was amazing! We walked down that afternoon to check it out and help the boys become acclimated so they could better appreciate it that night.
Then, we went to the Arboretum to go trick or treating!
Matt had a blast running around everywhere he could.
The covered wagon provided the best picture of the day! I just love this one.
Running with Daddy!
Peek-a-boo
Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaugh!
Cheese!
Climbing up the little secret ladder to the loft was fun.
My smiley little guy!
Pumpkins!!!
Given a platform, this child will jump!
Matt wasn't in the mood for a picture with the waterfall.
Somehow we got Jonathan to smile, but Matt wouldn't break.
Jonathan wasn't much for the trick or treating, but he loved all the stuff to look at, including the water.
Wonder what they were talking about here?
Costume time! Matt decided that the homemade Lego costume I found online would be perfect. We made it happen for him, and he chose red. Think he liked it?
Then there was the pouty fireman!
What?
Firemen calendar here we come!
I guess the candy made him happy! He got dressed and even posed with a smile for us!
Our two little guys! Just loved the costumes this year!
