Jonathan's Celebrations!

Like his brother, Jonathan was in store for a few birthday celebrations!

Jonathan's Celebration of Life was scheduled right before "Winter Break" from school. I was able to schedule it on one of my half days at work and was able to attend.

Jonathan went around the circle sharing his pictures, and wearing his birthday crown.

Rounding the calendar to mark another year of life.

A picture with Mommy to cap things off.

The Winter Party at school was the day after Jonathan's celebration. Nick & I were both able to attend, which was wonderful! Jonathan shared his love of his green iced sugar cookie with the camera.

Jonathan had his birthday party at Little Gym. Matt & Jonathan decided a train theme would be best for the cake and favors. The kids had a blast!

The cast didn't slow Matt down a bit!

My long time best friend Lisa was able to attend with her family. Jeremy, her youngest, did his best to keep up with the big kids!

Jeremy tries to lead the pack.

Matt had a blast exploring all of the equipment.

Run, run, run!

Because of the simple theme, I decided to take on the cake myself. The boys loved it and other than the chocolate layer being a bit overcooked, it tasted good. The rest of the decorating proved more challenging, trying to stick with a "Thomas" free party. Tough to find trains without "Thomas".

The party time continued in the gym with some directed play.

Flying around the gym!

More flying

A choo choo train

Time for the parachute!

I just love that look he gets when he's totally in the moment and loving it!

Jonathan wasn't too sure while they were twisting him around in the middle of the parachute. He enjoyed himself though!

Jumping, running, and crashing into a padded wall was more than some of the kids could handle. I forgot to change the setting on the camera, so Jonathan's a blur, but I think that fits!

The blur named Matt

That little Jeremy knows not his size! The boys had fun together!

Time for some cake!!!

We opted for more play time in the gym and taking the gifts home. When we got home, the gifts were the first thing on their minds.

The Hot Wheels tracks were the biggest hit!

The anticipation on their faces makes me smile every time!

Even after a few days, the crown resurfaced, and Jonathan tried out his new guitar from Nana & Pawpaw.

It was a great celebration... days of celebrations!
