Preschool Commencement Ceremony

Matt had 5 short weeks of preschool since we moved back. According to his teachers, he did well adjusting and slipping right in as if he'd been there longer. The class ranges from ages 3-6, so there's quite a difference in the kids. You can certainly tell from the pictures and video that Matt is on the young end of that!

He looks like he knows what to do and how to act. (bottom right of picture and videos that follow)

Here he is checking out the girls!

Then comes the ceremony. His teacher and the pastor of the church where the preschool is held, got up to speak and say thank you to the kids. Meanwhile, our wonderful child was busy entertaining himself! Listen carefully and you can hear Nick laughing in the background. Oh, and Nick was holding the camera, so that explains the shaky video!

On to the singing... Matt is not a group performer at this point. He pretty much mumbles and barely does the movements. He'll full on practice in his mirrored closet doors in his room at home, but with the group, I guess he's too cool. Not too cool to yawn during his own performance though! He cracks me up!

He loved going to school and seemed to enjoy his time there. They have the summer off and will start again in the fall with a few new students. At least he got his feet wet and knows what it's all about for the fall.
