Go Angels!

Although Nick really wanted to take Matt to see a USC game, he talked himself out of it. It's hard to depend on an almost 3 year old to last through an hour drive both ways to the stadium as well as a football game, while his daddy tries to enjoy the whole game. We know Matt will be over the top with excitement for his first game (he did enjoy the scrimmage in the spring), but it will be a while.

So, instead of a Saturday at the Coliseum, it was a trip to Anaheim to Angel Stadium for a baseball game. Here are the boys before the game.

Here's Matt with his "so excited" pose!

A true father/son lunch at the ballpark - a soft pretzel!

Looks like someone was after his soft pretzel in this picture. Look at him run!

Matt looks on before the game starts. I think he was mesmerized by it all. We had only been on the outside of the stadium, so this was his first look inside.

Fireworks are great to look at, but they are a bit loud!

Matt slept all the way home, and continued his nap after they arrived. He was understandably tired after such a big day with Daddy! I had a great time with some much needed one on one time with Jonathan too!
