Bubble Bath

Bubble baths in our bathtub are still a favorite, especially when Daddy makes the bath!

Here's the beginning. Just the beginning!

Bubbles in my eyes!!!

Peek-a-boo!

Laughing time in the bubbles!

A little splashing... makes the floor wet.

The feet are flying now. Time to end the bath!

Diving under water

Too many bubbles means hosing off in the shower.

Silly Boys

The boys are starting to play together more and at times gang up on me a bit. This was one of those cute moments of brotherly love while avoiding getting dressed for school.

Circus, Circus!

We went crazy one morning and took the boys to the circus! They hadn't been before and it was leaving town in a few days, so we just had to take advantage of it.

We went early enough to catch some of the pre-show drama!

Matt wasn't sure about any of it, but was curious about it all!

Not too sure about any of it yet.

I tried to sneak away and get a picture of my boys together, but then I got spotted by the littlest and clingiest one of the morning.

They watched as one of the elephants painted!

We made our way up to our seats, while watching all the sights along the way.

Enjoying the show from our seats.

So many elephants!

Don't remember what happened to make Jonathan have this expression, but it cracks me up!

It might have been the people flying out of the cannons, but not sure!

Backwards binoculars are a must at the circus.

More with the elephants.

Matt was the first one to crash on the way home. Such an eventful morning!

Jonathan fought the sleep and ended up catching a few winks on the way home.

Back to OKC

We went back up to Oklahoma in the middle of July, and this time, the weather was cooperative enough to allow some time in the pool.

My 3 boys!

Just can't seem to get everyone involved in the picture at the same time!

Boy gone crazy after eating lunch!

Still going a bit crazy

Taking on the water with great powers

We took the boys to the Science Museum during our visit!

Matt took this opportunity to show us his goofy side.

Do you see what I'm doing here, Daddy?

I just love the hands on museums, and so do the boys (all 3 of them).

There was a part of the museum where the kids could play with water. Jonathan refused to put on a smock, so Matt played alone with Nick.

Hard to pass up driving a tractor! They both jumped in.

Speaking of jumping in... I don't think the kids are supposed to stand in the storage bin on this one.

We had fun with the pool time, the museum, and a visit with Aunt Bobbie while we were there too!

My Budding Artists!

I got some new paints off a great online shopping site I have found. They are non-toxic and come in a powdered form. You make them up to what you want, including color and texture. so, one day the boys and I experimented and had some fun!

The boys mixed up a few colors and got to work.

2 hands are better than one

Look at the pride on his face. I just love it!

Ta da!

Jonathan got into the 2 handed painting too!

Ooh, the feet are too close to resist...

So happy with his body painting!

Two feet!

Post painting scooter ride, low rider style

Water Time

More playtime outside in the hot summer weather, and water was on the menu once again!

Pool, sprinkler, and basketball!

Water in the face?

Wanna play catch?

Snorkeling in North Texas?

Time for jumping into the pool.

Bowling!

One morning we decided to take the boys bowling at the local alley. It was just that, a bowling alley. No frills, no amenities, other than the lack of old bowling alley odor. It was great and low key.

Even without all the bells and whistles of the other places we have been, the anticipation of the ball hitting the pins is a bit much for Matt.

The boys had a blast, and I think I bowled the best game in my life somehow. I guess it was the lack of concentration on the game that served me best! Hard to concentrate with you're worried about little fingers being in places they shouldn't be, like under a 15 pound bowling ball rolling down the ball return.
